Keep only the useful columns
Start with the decisions the admin has to make. If a column does not help that decision, move it to details or filters.
Admin tables should help people scan, decide, and act quickly. The best table is not the one with the most columns; it is the one that shows the right signal at the right moment.
Make actions predictable
Icon actions work well when the icons are familiar, accessible labels are present, and destructive actions still ask for confirmation.
